Ginebra the champions

From the start Ginebra is walking wounded, elimination till quarter finals, here in the finals it got worst when they lost helterbrand and caguioa, but it seems they're never give up never surrender spirit is still their as long as their is the crowd their is the gin kings. Air 21 on the other end an all healthy line up could not contain Ginebra, shooters are their but it seems Ginebras defense lock them down. Game 7 was exciting till the last 2 minutes of play after egay missed the 3 its over. Menk delivered well in the finals series when no where to be found in the eleminations he just stood up in the series. Air 21 keeps on coming out with last ill plays they keep on shooting 3's not needed and shoots fast that leads into a sorry miss because they are an express team hehe congrats to them but the question will always remain, how come a healthy team lost to a crippled one? Sa huli ang puso na lang talaga ang importante.

I think nag karoon ng jitters ang air 21 in the final quarter, foul trouble na si alexander why dont they just go strong to the hole, Se keeps dribling the ball kaya hindi ma set ang plays, they keep on hitting 3s, and where are the fast break ang dami pag kakataon for fast breaks, nag mamadali silang mag shoot a sorry loss for them masyado yung lang talaga experience ni jong and the BGK they have experienced kaya hindi sila nag madali. Anyways if nanalo din ang air 21 its not gonna be a sweet victory, coz they jus defeted a depleted line up from the start, banderang kapos na naman for air 21, but again this championship has just gain them more experience. And for the BGK congratulations.

Barangay Ginebra comback from a 14 pt lead evens series at 3-3

They never gave up despite loosing helterbrand, and mark caguioa not in his scoring form, thanks to Chris Alexander outplaying Thomas who got early foul trouble once again scoring 30+ points and rescured his team to a sudden death, crucial contributions has also been made by artadi and Menk but it seems Ranidel De Ocampo found a way to defend him, on the othe hand its a sorry loss for the express they lead as many as 14 points but the gin kings came back, the express came back with a Gary David 3 pointer but the ginking maintained their lead. Its now or never for both teams on wednesday as they play Game 7

Yung baloons ng air 21 bababa na sana kagabi pero naging banderang kapos na naman sila, pumapasok naman yung mga shoot nila, they also had good defense, ang problema lang talaga nila is Chirs Alexander, they need to have a great play to stop 7 ft alexander, Gin Kings on the other hand plays well even if they have no stars, speaking ok stars I saw iwa motto last night hindi na siya mukang stick ngayon ganda na ng curves niya, btw I wa is the Gin kings muse, and what can I say ang ingay kagabi sa big dome its a special night at the dome they earned 2.5 million in just one night imagine that ganyan kadami fnas ng Ginebra, Mark Caguioa for senator, ganda talaga ni Lauren bagay pala sa kanya yung naka suot siya ng bgk jersey no. 47 pa hehe.

Air 21 leads the series again might end the series on sunday

Steven Thomas and Arwind Santos proved that great defense wins games, In a classic game 5 both teams showed tremendous defensive skills but it was air 21 who showed more until the last second, Arwind Santos grabbed a crucial steal plus points on a pass intended for Mark Caguioa, Thomas never gived up on defense with 7 footer Chirs Alexander, truly the game is played with defensive style limiting key shooters of both teams from scoring big caguioa was a victim of that, Chirs Alexander made it big, but Thomas is with hiom all along, last game 3 we saw canaleta playing good offense, but he also showed great defense guarding Mark Caguioa, and even blocking the lightning fast artadi going for a fast break layup. The express never gave up on defense and had been consistens on offense provided by Gary David which made them won the game.

Game 6 is on Araneta Cubao, this will be crucial Air 21 might take it from here or BGK might extend this for game 7, Galing talaga umarte ni Ronald Tubid biruin mo paikot pa lang si thomas ehh natumba na siya doon pa sa no charging zone, natawa na lang si Thomas, hindi ma contain ni ronald si Gary David kasi ang bilis ni David, Tubid has an injury making him slow, maganda na pinapakita ni caneleta defense and offense niya maganda na.

Mark Caguioa did not score much, his team won, Chris Alexander made a turn around game piling up points and rebounds and chris pacana keeps on getting better, thanks also to artadis energy giving the gin kings their victory, The story is defense looks like air 21 has been contained, ranidel missing, arboleda missing, Se missing, bench players missing, seems like air 21 is not in tempo in tonites game, Onlu thomas santos and david are doing the scoring chores.

PBA Finals Fiesta Conference Game 3

Air 21 leads the series at 2-1

Showing the whole country that they deserve to be in the finals against the Gin Kings, Air 21 now leading the series, Gary David, Arwind Santos, KG Canaleta showed tremendously on this game, David providing scoring and perfect free throws, KG perfect on the 3 pt range with 5/5, Santos perfect in defense especially crucial steals, that lead to an express victory. Air 21 has controlled the tempo of the game shutting down the barangay araneta crowd. Caguioa, Menk and Chris Alex showed great plays but it wasn't enough, the kings are feeling what it is to lose helterbran to an injury this series, no ones setting them up for play they need to make their own forcing caguioa more minute and platying point.

Wynne Arboleda namuhunan sa pa gkawala ni helterbrand almots triple double siya kagabi short of one assists, Ranidel at Homer Se pinaulanan ni Chris Alexander ng blocks, pati si Steve Thomas, na pukulan din, pero i think Steve Thomas has found a play to prevent Chris Alexander from blocking him and it seems effective he did that like 3 or 4 times, he should do that more often coz its effective. Gary David sumaludo pina Chris Alexander hehe, yun ang nakaktawa na nangyari last night, Sa wakas nag pakitang gilas na si KG nag pa ulan ng tres 5/5 shooting sa3 pt range na pa WOW ang ube republic (aka the air 21 fans ehh more naman pala silang fans hehe). Special mention ko nga pala si Ervin Sotto may crucial siya na offensive rebound that lead to a KG 3 pointer ang galing.

Beacuse of Ginebra's comeback from a 0-5 this conference and their amazing 12 winning streak, helterbrand was awarded the best player of the conference, showing consistency the whole conference, and alexander for helping Ginebra not only to enter the finals but give them a 12 winning streak. Air 21 firesback against Ginebra series is now 1-1


Air 21 has recovered from their finals jitters, after their finals realization last game, air 21 showed championship form, and proved they are a worthed ginebra opponent, Ginebra never took the lead the express lead all the way finals score at 90-124, The express players delivered and so as their bench, teamwork was active. It also halted the royal run of the kings 12 winning streak.

Si KG nag pakita na, doug kramer and marvin cruz delivered from the bench, egay elevated the needed energy, mas defensive ang air 21 ngayon, MC and Chirs Alex is contained, JJ got injured, junthy contained din. Thomas played well against Chris Alex So sa sunday back to 0 ulit best of five ang series, Best player si Arwind Santos with 20 pts , special mention si Gary David with 20 pts din, special mention also si coach bo for him and the express team for a job well done.

Ginebra prevailed, and so as Air 21's First finals jitters.

The usual energetic BGK prevailed and of course bitin na naman ang air 21 express, they trailed the 20 point lead of the kings but was not enough. Energy is coming from BGK's import Chris Alexander he got good off and def rebounds, Caguioa is contained by Arwind, Arboleda cannot run with JJ and Pacana is becoming the hero, Gary david need to be set more, more egay more energy.

Maganda na sana laro ng air 21 with their big guys mismatching the guards (Ranidel vs Sunday) , pero its too late when they did that, speaking of big guys wala paring galaw si KG buti pa si menk may galaw na ulit and he is now a member of the 5000 point club.

Ang ingay na sa big dome pati sa tv coverage, puro courtside reports na pasigaw kasi di na nila marinig sarili nila dahil sa ingay ng mga tao, and paulit ulit sina-sabi ng mga commentator, whistle happy refs nag simula na naman, at ang air 21 pag napipikon parating maraming technical.
